Q: What age do you start the children
swimming at?
A: Well, we start children swimming at 4 years of age.
Q: What swimming pool do you teach in?
A: We are currently teaching in the Yeats Country Leisure Club in
Rosses Point, Co. Sligo. It is located just 5 miles from Sligo town,
a 10 minute drive.
Q: Where is the Country Club in Rosses
Point?
A: It is behind the Yeats Country Hotel, come through the gates and
you will see the pool in front of you.
Q: Where can we park?
A: The car park in front of the hotel and in the car park on the
opposite side of the road, be safe when crossing the road, look both
ways before crossing the road and do not let children run on their
own. They must be kept under control at all times and not let run
about wild, so as to avoid having accidents
Q: What do we need
for the children's swimming?
A: A swimsuit, (Boy's/Girl's) goggles, swim hat, flip-flops (for
their feet to keep them safe going from dressing rooms to the
swimming pool and back to the dressing rooms), shower gel, towel,
warm clothes and hat to wear after their swim.
Q: Where do we get
appropriate flip-flops?
A: You can get them from Penney's, Dunnes, anywhere like that. They
are about €1.99 or €2.99, something like that. What they would wear
at the beach, not the white socks.
